Friedrich Zickwolff (1 August 1893 – 17 September 1944) was a highly decorated ''Generalleutnant'' in the ''Wehrmacht'' during World War II. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Friedrich Zickwolff contracted a disease while serving on the Eastern Front and died on 17 September 1944.
